Things to do in Sydney: TruNinja Penrith

I've recently been loving participating in active weekends, as you saw in my recent hike. After seeing a few tiktoks about this place, we decided to head to TruNinja in Penrith to give the course a go.

When you first walk in they ask you to sign a waiver and purchase some gloves ($7). Then you just make your way to the cafeteria/sitting area to leave your belongings and begin the course.

If you've watched Ninja Warrior, two sections are set up like that where each obstacle is consecutive and in front of you (only 4 obstacles). At the end of these consecutive sections, there is a foam ramp and warped wall (foam ramp is easy, warped wall is hard and I couldn't make it up). On top of the walls there is a jump? You can jump onto a crash mat but they say you have to jump onto your back or bottom. I skipped it. There are also 3 foam pits with 4 obstacles in them. Finally, there's a rock climbing wall.

I had a lot of fun, but I have little to no upper body strength so 70% of the obstacles were a struggle for me. I did take a fall when I tried to grab onto a rope but just missed and got rope burn all down my arm, but all in good fun. We paid for 2hrs but only ended up staying for 1hr.

Enjoy the following videos of our attempts! I didn't add the ones we succeeded in, only our greatest fails.

So the verdict? It was very fun! It's smaller than I imagined and we were done in about an hour. Is it something to experience? Sure, if you're bored and in need of an indoor activity.
